Surface vs. Depth
Most innovation happens in the Photic Zone—new CSS frameworks, shiny apps, viral trends. But the bulk of the ecosystem's nutrient cycling happens in the Aphotic or Abyssal zones (server farms, fiber optic cables, legacy code). A healthy web acknowledges both.
Visibility Bias
We tend to value what we can see. This creates a "Photic Bias," where we under-invest in the invisible infrastructure that supports the surface. Myceloom aims to direct attention downward, into the dark.
