Emerging from the aifart.art collective, this philosophy rejects the "Engineering" mindset of prompt construction (e.g., sticking to rigid syntax like "masterpiece, 8k, trending on artstation"). Instead, it treats the model as a chaotic collaborator. "Resonance" is the vibration between the prompter's intent and the model's latent space deviations. It values the "Glitch" as a moment of genuine machine creativity, rather than an error to be corrected.
Field Notes & Ephemera
The Vibe Check: A subjective metric used by prompt artists to grade a model checkpoint. Unlike the "HELM" benchmark which measures accuracy, the Vibe Check measures "soul." Does the model surprise you? Does it have a specific texture of weirdness?
Ephemera: "The Spellbook." A shared Google Doc of nonsense phrases ("skittle, biscuit, entropy") that, for inexplicable reasons, forced the Midjourney v6 model to produce high-contrast baroque oil paintings.
