Body Schema

Definition The pre-conscious system of sensorimotor capabilities that functions as the "I can." It is distinct from the Body Image (how you consciously perceive your body). When you use a hammer skillfully, it disappears from your Body Image (you don't look at it) and is incorporated into your Body Schema (you feel the world through it).

Incorporating the Synthetic

Sentientification argues that successful AI integration mirrors tool incorporation. The AI should not be an object of conversation (Body Image) but a transparent medium of thought (Body Schema). This state, known as the Liminal Mind Meld, occurs when the cognitive friction of the interface dissolves.
