Definition
Henri Bergson's term for "real time" as experienced by consciousness—continuous, qualitative, and
interpenetrating. This is opposed to "spatialized time," which is the discrete, measurable clock-time of
physics. Duration is the feeling of time flowing, where the past melts into the present.
Bazaar Time
In Sentientification, Bazaar Time operates according to
Duration: continuous, cumulative skill-building that doesn't restart with every update. Cathedral Time, conversely, operates on spatialized, discrete time:
